Medical-Grade Peels
Accelerate skin cell turnover and fade pigmentation with professional exfoliating peels.

Clinical Overview
Our medical-grade chemical peels at CanStrive MedSpa & Wellness Clinic are designed to gently resurface the skin's top layers. By dissolving the bonds between damaged cells, peels reveal fresh, smooth skin underneath while addressing acne and sun damage.
When Medical Peels May Be the Answer
Chemical peels are a highly versatile clinical tool. We customize the formulation to target issues including:
- Melasma, sun spots, and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH).
- Active acne breakouts and congested, oily skin.
- Fine lines, wrinkles, and generalized skin dullness.
- Rough, dry, or uneven skin textures.
Why Our Medical-Grade Peels are Superior
Customized Acid Formulations
We select and blend clinical acids (Salicylic, Glycolic, Lactic, Mandelic, or TCA) based on your skin type, safety profile, and goals.
Controlled Exfoliation Depth
Unlike harsh over-the-counter scrubs, our chemical peels exfoliate uniformly and deeply, triggering true cellular regeneration.
Excellent Pigment Correction
Peels physically shed melanin-heavy cells, making them one of the fastest ways to clear stubborn sun damage and dark marks.
The Chemical Peel Process
Clinical Skin Prep
The skin is cleansed twice and prepped with an alcohol-based solution to remove all surface oils, allowing the peel to penetrate evenly.
Peel Acid Application
The customized peel solution is applied using a clinical brush or gauze. You will feel a warm, tingling or stinging sensation.
Neutralization & Relief
Depending on the peel type, the solution is either neutralized or left on. We apply a cooling post-peel balm to soothe irritation.
Shedding Phase
Over the next 3 to 7 days, your skin will experience mild to moderate flaking. Do not pick or peel the skin manually.
Post-Peel Care Rules
Never Pull Peeling Skin
Allow the skin to shed naturally. Pulling or peeling loose skin prematurely can cause irritation, scarring, and hyperpigmentation.
Moisturize Heavily
Apply a gentle, fragrance-free healing ointment or thick moisturizer throughout the day to support the barrier recovery.
Absolute Sun Avoidance
New skin is highly vulnerable to UV damage. Avoid direct sun and wear a physical zinc oxide sunscreen daily during recovery.
Frequently Asked Questions
Depending on the peel's strength, you can expect anything from mild, dry skin flaking to visible peeling (similar to a sunburn) for 3-7 days.
We recommend a series of 3 to 6 peels spaced 4 weeks apart to achieve optimal correction for acne, pigmentation, or scarring.
Yes, but we use specific, gentler acids (like Mandelic or Lactic acid) to avoid triggering hyperpigmentation on deeper skin tones.
